SLP Workshops and Conferences

SLP Arabic Workshop at Denison University, February 23 and 24.

Veteran SLP instructors shared their experiences and exchanged ideas on technology and digital pedagogy, best teaching practices, and how students are reacting to the virtually interactive teaching and learning environment now that we are three semesters into the program. We heard from all about their thoughts on the status quo of Arabic across our institutions and brainstormed how we can best contribute and benefit from each other’s efforts and ideas so that Arabic will gain in stability and be sustainable on our various campuses over time. Our meeting also allowed all of us to meet in person with the goal that individual colleagues will find a community of otherwise often somewhat isolated instructors with each other.
